Adventure Park in the Pine Forest
Right behind the town of Marina di Pisa lies the vast pine forest that hosts the “Il Pineto” Adventure Park, a space of nature and adventure that’s perfect for spending a few hours outdoors in the fresh air.
The park features aerial trails suspended among tall pine trees, with various levels of difficulty suitable for both children and adults. Safety is guaranteed by a continuous steel lifeline system, to which each participant remains securely attached with at least one carabiner. On the higher courses, a continuous belay line is used — a system where the carabiner cannot be detached, ensuring maximum safety.
Before accessing the aerial courses, all guests are given a short but thorough safety briefing by the trained staff, who remain available throughout the entire experience to assist and guide participants.
The Adventure Park is also eco-friendly: it uses minimal electricity and its structures are primarily built from wood, in full respect of the surrounding nature.
Sun Light Park
On the Tirrenia seafront, just a few kilometers from Marina di Pisa, you’ll find Sunlight Park, a water park perfect for a day of summer fun.
The park offers swimming pools, water slides for all tastes, inflatable games, trampolines, and entertainment with music and shows for both kids and adults.
There’s a large lawn equipped with sunbeds and gazebos for relaxing, plus a restaurant and a bar. Sunlight Park is the ideal destination for families, couples, or groups of friends.
The Trammino Cycle Path
A flat, safe, and scenic route connects Pisa to the sea, following the path of the old Trammino railway. The Trammino Cycle Path is perfect for families or anyone who wants to discover the area by bike.
The path runs through countryside, pine forests, and along the Arno River mouth, known for its traditional fishing structures on stilts. You can reach Marina di Pisa and continue to Tirrenia via the recently added section that connects to the seaside promenade.
This is a relaxing and nature-filled ride, with the possibility to stop and enjoy the landscape or taste local delicacies along the way.
San Rossore Natural Park
The Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli Park is a large protected area along the Tuscan coast. Its rich biodiversity and natural landscapes make it one of the most important parks in Italy.
Inside the park, the San Rossore Estate is the heart of the area. You can explore it on foot, by bicycle, on horseback, or with electric minibuses and guided tours. You’ll discover dunes, pine forests, wetlands, and a wide variety of animal species, including wild horses and birds.
